Got a question about IWB hybrid holster. I've got a Chief Jason, Stickywire, and a Guardian Concealment IWB. The screw holding the front j-clip always comes loose on all of them. I wear them from 3 to 5 o'clock and always put them on the same way. The other clip never comes loose. Any ideas?

Loctite.

You put the holster on. You're moving. It is moving. Eventually all that movement is going to start making screws move. It happens. Loctite is the solution.

Blue loctite? Or even a small piece of Teflon tape?

Any holster I buy, hybrid, all kydex, whatever, if it has screws, they get blue Loctite before I ever wear it out of the house.

I put loctite on one and it still came loose. I'll try it again. Thanks

I'm with these guys on the loctite.

You may be bumping the front clip and moving it more than the rear one. Or something about how you move thought the day moves the front clip more than the rear. Somehow it's moving around more to come loose. If the holster is bent sharper to the the front, like bending over you hip bone, movement will probably be amplified with that bend. The area to the back that is bent less likely moves less.

Screws backing out is one of the reasons I don't like hardware inside a holster like a lot of the full kydex uses and some of the hybrids. A loose T nut would eat up a slide quick. When I use hardware over the slide on leather holsters it's sandwiched between 2 layers of leather.
