Watching the first episode now. Each episode is a documentary about a very dangerous game from some part of the world.
The first episode is about calcio storico which is played in Italy. The history behind it is very interesting. The game itself is brutal.
Basically rugby with no rules. Only 2 games are played every year. Four teams a semi final and a final. They say if you win you never play the final with the same team because they won’t heal in time. There’s 9 weeks between the two games.
I hope the rest of the episodes are as interesting as this one.
