Honor guard not drop safe

Pardon me..but I have never dropped a gun in my life. And I sure as hell have never swung a hammer at one trying to make it fire.
From my first cap gun, to bb guns, to 22 rifles, and after that I'm not sure because by that time I was cracked out and couldn't stop buying them.
I dunno. Maybe it was my cop-Dad and my farmer-Uncle reinforcing that guns are not hot wheels or GI Joes. They are in a league by themselves and deserve a respect unlike any other item, so act like somebody.

I get the coulda kinda maybe might happen never-know argument. I deal with that in my job everyday. I also understand that Leo/Military experience situations the rest of us don't. You won't sell me on the but what if you're in the hood and 5 thugs jump you and you drop your gun cause it's raining and it hits the deck and goes off and shoots you in the face either. These scenarios are probably as common as monkeys flying outta your butt Garth.

Some of this 'testing' imo is just absurd. What it amounts to, is we design and make products for the stupidest people in the world, and have become attuned to that's the way it should be. So we end up decrying a product that fails to meet the most-stupidest-person-in-the-world test. I'm not in the habit of defending these people or their obscure stupidity. In my travels I've found that these people are destined for self-destruction now matter what you do, and best to just stay away from them.

Full disclosure- I don't want one of these Honor Guards. Zero interest. Nor do I want a Shield or P320. My advice fwiw, is do what ya want, just...act like somebody.

Update.
Got the upgraded parts in, installed them, and it works great. I was under the impression that the upgrade would add a little to the trigger pull because of an upgraded spring, but I tested it with my trigger pull gauge and it was identical to the pull weight I measured before I sent it off.
I sent a message to Honor Defense asking about the work, and got a call from the owner of the company Gary Ramey verifying the work.
Pleased with the result. Time to put it back in the rotation.
