Hornet Custom triggers for 10/22 ??

@amnesia has one I believe. I have one too but haven’t shot it after zeroing my scope, so I can’t give too much info on them. I am contemplating swapping it into my 10/22 competition and putting the BX-25 into my takedown. But I need to shoot them side by side to see if it is worth it

I was looking at the Hornet Custom triggers and also at the Powder River Precision trigger. I'm not looking to spend $300-$400 on a Timney, Volquartsen, or Tandemkross.

I haven’t tried those two.
Of the one’s I’ve tried, my favorites;
1)- Kidd firing group
2)- Kidd hammer/sear combo
3)- Volquartzen hammer/sear combo

I had one on a 10/22 takedown. It was nice. Zero complaints. IMO it was better than the upgraded one Ruger offers.

I have a Black Max Hornet in my 10/22 Takedown. It's right at 2lb, crisp. No issues with mine.

I’ve got some Kidd and Volquartzen triggers and have been satisfied with them. Have not tried these. If anyone here knows anything about them it is @Studentofthegun. He’s the rimfire guru and is who I seek advice on 10/22s.

Never tried the BX. I got this back in 2016, actually off of Amazon before stuff got stupid.

Is the price difference worth it versus a $60 BX trigger ?
I’m a Ruger, & a 10/22 fan. It annoys me that Ruger puts crappy triggers in their guns, then will charge you more to replace their crappy firing group. They didn’t bother until they noticed how big that market is.
Due to my curmugenly stubbornness, I’d rather pay someone else more, especially if it’s better.
Buy once, cry once.

Your location isn’t with tour avatar, there’s a good chance someone near you has some of these triggers you can fondle, before you decide to pull the trigger.
