How big is to big

I use exclusively JM custom kydex. His AIWB holster w pull the dot loops. Extra concealment bump. No wing. For his mag carrier I use the DCC monoblock clip. Belt is blue alpha gear with cobra buckle.

99% of AIWB holsters are hot garbage. Only a few makers know what they’re doing:
JMCK
Tenicor
PHLster
Keepers concealment
Dark Star Gear

im sure I’m leaving out a few others

heres my G17 setup. Same thing for the 92

Why no wing? Just curious

if the trigger guard is correctly designed, a wing isn’t necessary. Tony (JMCK) builds the trigger guard to kick way up away from the pistol thus driving the grip to rotate into the abdomen. So the wing isn’t at all necessary...however almost all holsters still use a wing. for very narrow waist the wing will be helpful. If pant size is 34 or over the non-wing JMCK design works great. For me ditching the wing means more even more comfort esp when sitting and less hardware that can fail or wear out.

other than shit holsters, the #1 mistake people make with AIWB is getting a short holster. It needs to be sufficiently long to remain stable on the belt line. For example even if I carried a G19 I’d go with a G17 holster. My wife carries a G48 because it carries better AIWB than a G43 or G43x. i blew like 2 years and a lot of $$ figuring out my AIWB needs. Some of it is personal to me. Other elements like correct holster length are universal.

I've seen bigger guys than me carry appendix but I dont see how they do it
You're probably at that bad medium. Lose weight and you can carry appendix or gain a bunch of weight so your belt goes over the belly (real fat people do that so their dangler of a belly doesn't fold over the belt uncomfortably)

I used to carry appendix but as I've become less active and gained weight it's uncomfortable now. If my belt is real lose it's fine but I have trouble keeping my pants up if I run. One of those fancy track belts would probably help.

I started with a G19, and switch over recently to a Sig p226 using a T1C holster. Works fine for me. I have a bigger frame, which helps me conceal the larger pistol.

Is that comfortable bending over or sitting?
Are you coming on to me? 😂

Sitting is really comfortable you just have to make sure that the ride height doesn’t have the muzzle of the pistol low enough so it’s sticking into your thigh.

The only time it’s uncomfortable is if I’m squatting down Google Asian squat to see what I’m talking about and no this is not a trap

It may not appear that way but the entire pistol is flat against my torso kind of like it would be with a belly band

Not at all.
But the position of the holster seems like it would dig into your groin area.
That would go from groin to groan!

I have had to carry AIWB when necessary in certain situations or functions but don't think I would want to do it with anything bigger than a glock 19 size firearm.
