How the US Stole a Soviet Helicopter in the Middle of the Night

Ive been watching a lot of the Dark Docs videos, some really interesting tales!

Interesting how they did the training runs at night but did the actual move during the day. They must not have been worried about the Soviets having coverage over Chad. Either that or the cat was already out of the bag and the Soviets knew we were getting it.

Find the Jocko podcasts with “Tllt”, John Stryker Myer, and the Green Berets that fought in Laos. Crazy stories. Or look up “Across the Fence” if you want to read it.

There's a lot of stuff that remains classified, that cannot be declassified until 50, 75, or 100 years after it's deemed "declassifiable". We're just now getting to some meaty stuff from Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia. There's still stuff about the Bay of Pigs that's wrapped up tight, stuff in Central America, stuff in Africa....

In the late 80's this thing was parked near Pete's Harbor in Redwood City. I used to fish for tiger sharks and stingrays right next to it and had no clue what it was.
