Honest,, I saw this happen. When I was a shop forman for a Honda car dealership we had a tech, kinda entry level about 30 years old. I assigned him a simple front brake pad replacement. In the business were trying anything to combat brake squeal due to crappy pad materiel and something that kinda worked was Antisieze between the pad and caliper. I gave him the pads and told him to put the lube between the pads and the caliper. He asked why and I told him that it helped eliminate noise . 30 min later, I walked past his work station and saw that he coated the entire brake rotor with the Antisieze. This was before HR depts were installed and feeling were ment to be stomped on for educational purposes, so this was his last day.
