How to piss off the wife in one easy step...

Well, it's apart...and happiness may be all those things but sadness is a slave pin falling out and a sear cage crumbling in my hand :(
Oh, well....there's time for that later lol. Now it's time to deep clean and polish some contact points.

Did you get all the loctite out?

That was on a different gun, but yeah, got it out. Was a pain, too lol.
This is actually the second one I had stripped down yesterday, but the only one being a pita. There's a spring in the sear cage not wanting to cooperate in this one.
Had all I could stand last night and have to troubleshoot it today.

This is why I clean my cz 75b with brake cleaner, no idea how I’d get that assembly back together. It’s also kept me away from upgrades that I would like to try.

Honestly, they're really not so bad. No more or less aggravating than anything else with small part.
Gave it a try this morning as is, still a no go. Took slave pin out, rebuilt cage, put it in and bam! Working like it should. Took all of ten minutes and fresh eyes lol

What's one of those sight pusher setups run?

I wanna say I gave ~$35 for mine. It'ss a NCStar Vism and I'm pretty sure it was ~$45 on Ebay and I picked it up when one of thise 20% codes hit.
So far, its been worth it.

CZ parts crumbling in your hand? Better throw that POS out and immediately go buy a Glock. :D Flame proof suit on...
It had to come apart anyway to replace the lifter...I just didnt want it to right then lmao.

I just bought the ol lady a g26 a few weeks ago for Mothers Day. I threw up in my mouth a little doing it. 20+ showers later and I still feel dirty :D

Oh, yeah...it's been together for a while, but I forgot to tag @Eltonfan59 in this

Step 1: custom parts complete
Step 2: new sights complete
Step 3: new grips on the way
Step 4: super duper extra cool cerakote ideas being discussed with my cerakote dude.

Gonna go shoot it tomorrow afternoon

How to piss the wife off in one easy step?? Wake up in the morning????

Things I have discovered which piss off my wife:

- Me washing the dishes. Apparently it's upsetting to her when I don't use the dishwasher, never mind she's not the one doing the dishes.

- Me scrubbing the kitchen floor by hand. Apparently it's upsetting to her when I don't use a mop, never mind she's not the one cleaning the floor.

- Me looking at my wrist watch whenever we're talking about a date/time for some event. Apparently it's upsetting because my watch didn't have a calendar feature, never mind the fact that I can look at the current date/day and figure out in my mind what day of the week we're talking about. I resolved that by throwing my watch in the garbage can in the kitchen when she was done yelling. Haven't worn a watch for at least 10 years, now, and she hasn't been pissed about that ever since. Success, I'd say.

- Cleaning with any cleaning product I like to use. Apparently everything I like to use bothers her nose.

- Using any kind of weed killer. Apparently they are evil and bad for the environment.

- Using salt on snow and ice. Apparently it's bad for the environment.

- Using any kind of bug killer. Because apparently anything which actually works bothers her nose, is poison to the pets, or is bad for the environment.

- Turning the volume up past a whisper on the radio or TV. Because apparently the fact that my hearing is no longer what it used to be when I was younger is no excuse to have anything up at a volume I can actually understand what people are saying.

- Adjusting her seat/mirrors whenever I drive her Expedition. Because apparently the inconvenience of adjusting them back is more important than me being able to safely drive her 8,000 pound vehicle.

- Cleaning certain areas of the house, because apparently I can't put anything where it belongs. Never mind the fact that she never gets around to cleaning it AND she can't find any of her crap in the mess anyway.

- Me getting p*ssed off because we can't plan ANY effing trip ANYWHERE without being HOURS behind schedule in pulling out of the driveway. Never mind all the efforts put in beforehand getting the vehicle ready, packed, and kids ready. Because apparently the way to get ready for a vacation is to plan a sh*tload of EXTRA crap that absolutely MUST be done before we leave.

Good luck finding one. It took us almost 2 years to track that one down.

I'm registered in their leo/mil program, so when I get around to it, I'll just order one from the factory.
There will still be a wait, but not too long.

Those are awesome grips. Wife wants to know where you got those.
Sorry, boss...wasn't trying to ignore you. This notification got lost in the mess of them about me goung back to school.
Anyway, to answer your question, they are from Cool Hand, they are the Ops texture/pattern, and can be had from either Amazon, Ebay, or coolhandgear.com
Not always, but most of the time Amazon or Ebay are $4-8 cheaper than their site.

:D:eek::D

- Mentioning like taking a crap, you're not done until the paperwork is completed- Put the: screws, drill, clamps, cover the paint can, glue, scraps and sawdust where they belong. Then you're done.
Yup... today's shot to hell. o_O

Wife wants to know if those are thin or thick. She wants a thin grip for her small hands. I may get a set and sand to fit her tho.

Things that piss off the wife:

Being able to make my own schedule and not punch a clock.
Working at something I enjoy.
Leaving and coming as I damn well please.
Not telling her stuff the kids tell me.
Putting items in the dishwasher out of her order (like who gives a crap, I do it).
Not agreeing with her on interior decorating choices when she ask my opinion.
Not immediately jumping up to come to the table for dinner.
Sweeping the floor with the broom I used in the garage.
Not reacting immediately when ants are seen around a window.
Letting a fly in and not immediately smashing it.
Not going to the dentist or doctor more often.

She knows I have a bunch of guns and she is not going to mention it because the first thing I will do is count the endless number of shoes she buys for those tree climbing monkey feet she has. She a beautiful woman but those stubby feet are hideous.
