1. "So what’s the best revolver caliber?" my fav is .44 special.
2. "Anything rabid." i shot a rabid beaver (not muskrat) believe it or not. it was tested, too.
3. "Do you think 44sp +p rounds would be sufficient?" yes, however i load lead SWC.

44 Mag sounds fun but I’d like a smaller revolver, so what’s a good but inexpensive 357? This would be a beater so just looking for function.
