That is so cool! There is something about neat little single-shot .22's that I just love - they sort of never go out of style in my book. Toss some Colibri powderless .22s in there and you've got a whole lot of quiet fun that will be really easy on 'er. Well done!
One way or another, it should certainly be a whole lot of fun!Should be picking it up today. I have a bunch of 22 long rifle but traded off all the CB caps. I'll likely zero it for standard velocity 40g loads. It was made in the 70s as a copy of the old Stevens tip up pistols. As such, should handle everything with aplomb. Waiting to see if the action block is steel, if so, I'm sure it'll wear a long time. If zamac, like the barrel, I'll make sure to give it a diet of standard velocity 22s only. Prolly won't fire any stingers at all in either event as the case length and pressures are different than .22 lr.
I like that Sir ! ....Bad thing about this community, you see a lot of things you had no idea about....then you winde up wanting one..lolNice shooter. Going to be hours of good practice. All zamac construction and still plenty tight.
Shooting wise I started at 8 yards and stepped back with each ring on the steel. I was able to stay on the 4 in gong easily to 30 yards. I'm impressed with this little ugly baby.
