and I think it makes a good point pretty well - not that many who consider us deplorable will be swayed by it. Many of you have probably seen it before, but I just saw it yesterday. I don't get out much.

So that's averaging 3000 rounds of ammo per gun, seems high

Well, maybe there's a little hyperbole in it.

Ignoring the vast majority that just have a few boxes of ammo, you'd need something like 20 mil households averaging 50k rounds to get a trillion. Not impossible but it doesn't seem likely. I know there are quite a few people on CFF with 50K rounds but even here that's probably above average. I hope I am wrong though. The more the better, and the shorter the next panic will be.

Hell it would only take a few of some of us to make a huge problem if we so wanted. 300 million is not even close, that number is way low. The Japanese admiral Yamamoto knew this before WWII started thats why they never invaded.

Or an order of magnitude low, depending on your personal point of view. ;)

Not really, when some people only have hundreds, others have hundreds of thousands.

Yeah, some have a ton (likely LITERALLY) of ammo, but most dont have anything near 3k per gun they own.
