I had 11 mags for a VP9 and just sold the last 4. I also picked up 4 mags for PPQ for a total of 7. Thats one way of making sure I won't change pistols again:).
I want at least 12 so I don't have to
Load mags at the match. How many do you guys use?

Not load mags at a match...
I would need at least 20 for locals. Probably more. I go to the line with 5/6.

10 rounds per mag. Max REQUIRED round count per stage 32. Up to 8 stages not all 32rnd.

I always miss a good run by somebody when I'm loading mags. I like watching other as much as shooting.
We'll just put you right before me in the shooting order, that way when you're done shooting and ready to reload you'll only miss an old guy cursing under his breath while searching for mags on his belt when he's supposed to be shooting.

...Although I am told it is grand entertainment. :D

What's the sport in that? It makes it too easy. I didn't decide which gun to shoot last Saturday till I got out of the truck on the range. Eenie stayed home, meenie and minie lost out, and mo got the nod.

Lest anyone care to dispute, I'm pretty sure the decision was made when he heard the shot timer.

I like to have at least 6 centerfire mags. That’s for limited/multigun/ etc.
Go to be line with 3 for uspsa.
For multi gun I usually just have one in gun and one on belt.

For my Ruger .22’s I like to have like 10. I have the cliploader and can load all ten in seconds.
Man you can really burn through some rimfire this way!

For rifle usually one in gun and one on belt.
