Looking for some suggestions on a good belt. I have some riggers belts from the army days, but some don't fit and some barely fit through the belt loops on most of my jeans.

Just needing a belt that's a little more solid than what I use currently, that also won't break the bank.

What size waist are you? I have a wilderness tactical belt you can have if it’s the right size. I shrunk out of mine.

Get a fat boy belt. 2/3 of the people on this forum own several of them for a reason . They’re not hype.

You get a great belt and you’re supporting an NC business and a forum sponsor

Fat Boy Belts Uber Alles.

I have three. I had four but a girlfriend swiped one. I never wear any other belts. In years of use my giant gut has yet to deform the leather, which is something I did not think possible.

I own two Fatboy belts. Are they the best? I don't know because I've only compared them to dime store belts and there's no comparison.

Do I like them? No. I love them.

The top 2 answers to any question on this board are fat boy belt and get a cz. The question is usually irrelevant.

Where does one find these "fat boy belts"? I too am in the market. Also, I've used one of the kore trakline belts for years so I am a little worried that old style belt and 1 inch spaced holes wont be as comfortable, but these reviews are making me wonder.

I don’t think anyone has suggested a Fatboy belt from Gunbelt yet

Anybody heard of Fatboy belts? :D

I got a FB fairly recently after years of hearing the hype.
Earlier this year it came in. Besides my competition belt, I haven't used another since.
And, I've actually run it in two 2gun matches, too. Its burly enough to take it. Throw an OWB holster and some pouches and it's GTG.
It's softened up a bit and is super comfy. No belly bite from the buckle. No buckle scratches on guns or guitars, etc.
It's a LEGIT piece of gear!

If you don’t buy one after all this you need you arse kicked :D

I have two fatboy belts and so far it’s looking like that will be a lifetime supply.

Question. I wear a size 40 pants. They fit loose as to help with my IWB carry. The FB sight says to add 2" to my pants size. So I would order a 42" belt?

The belt I normally wear is a ptu type belt. I just pull till tight.

I think I'm up to 5 Fatboy belts now. The 3/16" thick one I got at the last Greensboro show is breaking in nicely.

At least 2”. I buy them 2 sizes (4”) over for two reasons. bathroom administrative use and christmas cookies.

Two notes about Curt's belts...plus a PSA:

1. Paid members get a 20% discount, so contact him here on CFF instead of buying online
2. His blems are an even better deal, especially since you often can't notice the blem...or it's less damage than you'll do to it in the first couple weeks

PSA: if it's your first Fat Boy belt, you'd better break in the "buckle" when you get it...and not when it's absolutely necessary to get off due to a bathroom emergency. ;)

This will only work if the belt loops on your pants are large and you ask him nicely to punch a couple of extra holes in it for you.

I have shrunk to the point I am using the very last hole in one of my fat boys and all that extra leather is getting tough to wrangle around when trying to get the belt on. It simply won't work with some of my pants because the belt loops are too small to accommodate a double thickness of Fatboy XXL.
