I sincerely love all of you.

Chad, I'd follow you anywhere, including the basement. I missed a good bit of the CSC falling apart because I was out of town to attend a funeral, so when I got back and saw the forum I'd been proud to call home (and supported with paid membership) was sold to a bunch of anti-gun nutjobs, I felt like my backside was being burned.

I knew it would only be a matter of hours before some of the good folks we know and trust would start a new forum. I'm glad to see that it happened even faster than I expected it would. Seems that a great many of the people who made CSC great have already migrated here, and we're going to make CFF even better.

I was pleased to see that within minutes of commenting my displeasure in the CSC sale thread, I got at least 3 invites to this place from you guys.

I'd also like to mention that I just went back to check those invites, and it seems the commies in charge of CSC have edited the links so that it links back to CSC. I'm not sure if using crude language is allowed here yet, so I'll spare everyone the 4-letter words and descriptive terms for manure and intercourse.

Within 6 months of joining CSF I found 4 more and the number has grown from there to where I can honestly and proudly say that I have at least 20 close personal friends that I would do anything for and the feeling is mutual. Even if that meant burying a dead hooker.

So again, from the bottom of my perverted heart, thank you.

Dont forget i made delivery of those 5 days after the price went to $90 per mag too.

And honestly it never did bother me. We made a deal. An extra (hang on let me get my calculator) $1700 give of take is no reason to break your word. No amount of money is.

So very glad and impressed that you guys got this running so fast after the dagger they sent you. I can already tell the old site will fade away from my mind pretty quick. You bastages are all out in the flats mostly but I swear it feels like I know you all. I'm excited so many members told me how to get here and I will be happy to help in any way I can.

As for the hooker. I have access to heavy equipment. Or hell a shovel if needed. All else fails there are some hollers here that no one ventures into:confused:

I'm getting nostalgic as I get older. I just changed my signature line to BA/UU/R... This stands for Buy Ammo/Use Up/Repeat... It was used by Dave McCracken, who was the shotgun forum moderator at The High Road forum from when I started shooting again in about 2006 until shortly before his death in Nov 2012. He was a fieldgrade +++ level poster, and was very knowledgeable about shotguns. I actually talked with him by phone a few times when I first signed on to THR forum. We discussed his struggles of trying to make a living in the shooting field, as he had tried working for Dick's or some other such big box store to try to utilize his love for and knowledge of guns to help others while making enough money to support his family.

Part of me says don't use his signature, because it was his. Another part says pass it on, as a way to honor him for his service to all those who knew him through the forum.
