I went to buy some oil and...yada yada yada...

Nice pistol, this has me wanting to get a 10mm again. How do you usually carry when in the woods?

I'm not sure yet on this one.

Before this, I've always carried either an SP101 3" or GP100 4" revolver in a Simply Rugged pancake OWB. Easy, belt carry. Nothing special. When hunting, I carry a 5" S&W 629 in a Simply Rugged pancake mounted to a chest rig to distribute the weight and make the draw easier with heavy clothes.

I went in Silver Dollar in Ramseur this time last year to buy one small box of ammo and came out with a Glock 43

Nicely done there! You have been busy the last few days. Good times...

You may want to fill in the masses in your 10mm thread :D

I’ll be moving back to the east coast soon and living in northern VA pretty close to the Appalachian Trail. I’ve been eyeing the Hill People Gear kit bags as a way of conceal carrying a pistol and some other esssebtials on my chest while hiking. Have you seen or used these bags?

I have the Hill People Gear recon bag. I like it. It's great for mountain biking. Keeps everything up front where I can reach it. I think the original kit bag may be even better. My one complaint about the recon bag is it is small. There's just enough room for a pistol, extra mag, knife, ID and tire patch kit.

Good info, I was curious if I could get away with the runners or recon bag, or if I would need the larger original kit bag or heavy recon bag. Were you the one who posted a review and some pics of your HPG bag awhile back in the camping or hiking section? I remember reading a thread on one and cant seem to find it now. If so, post the link and I'll ask my questions there, so we don't get to off topic in the OP's thread. Thanks.

Please, keep us updated on this as you shoot it. I am in the market for a 10. Just haven't decided on the platform yet.

So far, so good!

Accurate, reasonable recoil management. Stock trigger is acceptable.

I haven’t run anything besides 180gr ball as of yet though.

Everyone knows you can’t yada yada yada ... buying a gun it’s the best part. ;)
