I had off on Valentine’s Day and took my rifle to Uwharrie to shoot some targets at 50 yards. One of the workers asked if I wanted to participate in their monthly shooting challenge since I was already shooting at 50. I asked what it entailed and this was the conditions he told me.
Top row of targets would be shot supported. I shot on bags.
bottom row was shot unsupported with only elbows on shooting table.
bottom row was a huge challenge cause I do not practice this often and my rifle is heavy. I was just hoping to hit every target on the bottom and luckily I did. My score ended up moving me into the lead. I thought it was kinda cool but I didn’t think it would really last.
Yesterday I got a text from Uwharrie Letting me know the good news. Would like to thank the rimfire crowd for staying home last month and allowing me to win.
