Haha-thanks guys! Great time shooting yesterday with a new squad, didn’t know one a forum member! Need to wear name tags or something.

Congrats to @nchiker1 kicking everyone's caboose by a full five seconds! Great work, Joshua. Wish I could have watched you do it.

Yeah, kicked my caboose by 118 seconds.
It's comical to me when I look at how long it took me to shoot compared to him.
I'm glad I can laugh at myself!

Sorry I didn't formally introduce myself. I was the old, slow dude who brought up a discussion about magwells on certain guns. - Danny

Bought me one of these for $39.99 at Academy Sports today. Heavy as lead, but I'm bringing it.

I'm gonna head over to H20 late this afternoon. Put a new front sight on the new blaster yesterday and need to see how it runs.

Also might lay out an interesting stage that won't be too hard to shoot, but will require some extra eyeballing to get it laid out right. I have every confidence that Sir Anthony will be able to make it work.

Here' s a preview. I'm sure it will look completely different in person once we're done, lol.

Is the range open to the public this afternoon? I need to get some daylight shooting in. I've only shoot my new gun once at the range and at Buccineer last weekend.
The red fiber front site is tough to pic up at the indoor range

Bring some fingernail clippers and the green fiber that probably came with it and we’ll change it if you decide you don’t like the red.

And dont question my advanced choice of tools.

Blew stage 1,, I went -40 down on that stage. That one stage cost me 26 positions. Back to the range and garage. A bad showing motivates me more that a good one.
Two mikes on that stage cost me five spots, and was only down two for the match till we got there. I think we were crazy with the heat when we finally got to that stage.

I had a great time. I gotta focus more on shooting and not talking junk. It showed yesterday with 2 stages that I had a complete meltdown on

I have done that a time or two when I was blabbering right before it was my turn to shoot. Forget which targets get what, and just completely blow it. When it's as hot as it was, I think it tends to affect thinking. Big John on our squad was seeing gray spots on our last stage and I had to send him to shade.

One procedural on the standards stage, and I was an SO, and dropped a mag on two different stages, had to go back and pick them up equaled a rough day. Moral of the story, dont use Glock mag carriers for M&P mags they fall out easy.

I think I saw more G43s by far than anything else yesterday. They have really gotten popular.

On my squad it was about a 50-50 split between G43s and Shields.

I think you and I have seen both guns shot exceptionally well. The Shield stands a wee bit taller and is a few ounces heavier than the Glock, but carries one more round stock. I pocket carry so the dimensions of the Glock suit me better, but would almost buy a Shield just to see how it runs compared to the Glock.

Edit: I stand corrected. The Shield 2.0 apparently weighs the same thing as the G43 now.

Just registered.

Inquiring minds want to know what a "Super Senior" is.
I'm thinking Fred, Lon, Larry, Wayne, Charlie, ... heck, two thirds of the Wilmington mafia.

Those guys are ten years older than me.
And Terry is but a pup. Have you seen his head of hair?

I just registered, too. Glad I got in on time, only 190 spots left! LOL. It would take 2 1/2 days to shoot with that many shooters.

The category over age 65 was once called Distinguished Senior, based on a thread I found. I'll have to dress better to fulfill that definition.
