I think all that was done was to add length to the berm between Bays 1 & 2. I don't believe we added another bay.

Bay 1 was split so there are now 6 pistol bays in a row freeing up the rifle range (old stage 6).

Shot out there this morning, the place looks nice. Like Amp said, the old bay 1 is split up into two long bays.

Wow. Those look great! My favorite place on the planet just got better.

How about a 100 yard pistol challenge at the end of the match.....just cause it's fun to ring steel at 100 especially for the nay sayers.

We might can make that happen, it will all depend on how many rifle shooters are there waiting for the match to be over so they can use the range.

I'm calling everyone out..... $1 a shot 10 shots per shooter? Every miss you put $1 into the pot.....money goes back to the range

I'm requesting a handicap based on my match classification which means I can shoot at 3 yards.
;)

Misfires and dead primers count as one shot, right? :)

Any H2O guys interested in getting a group together for the Coastal Carolina shoot? Just got off the phone with David from Ant Hill, he said he'll be working on squadding soon.

If you want in, mention it here and drop me a PM with your name and I'll let him know.

Going to miss this one, son has baseball tryouts.
I don't shoot pistols very well, but I shoot them a whole lot better than my Little League tryouts in Jackson, Miss around 1965.

If the tryouts don't go as planned, you know where to bring him. :D

Start time tomorrow is 10am. April - October will have start time of 9am.
Good. Then I can actually get in the Chik-fila parking lot on the way before the soccer moms.

Good lord...I certainly stunk up the range today.

Ammo problems. I mic'd the OAL when I got home. 1.250" consistently, but 1.200" is the OAL for 45acp SWC. Not sure how that happened, but Ima fixin to have a heart-to-heart with the QC staff around here.

No matter how bad I shot, it was a gorgeous day spent with a wonderful squad.
