What's the stage # of the stage where we shot through the downrange SUV windows (or the actual SUV for some of us, lol) with multiple targets?

Good lord...I certainly stunk up the range today.

Ammo problems. I mic'd the OAL when I got home. 1.250" consistently, but 1.200" is the OAL for 45acp SWC. Not sure how that happened, but Ima fixin to have a heart-to-heart with the QC staff around here.
I think throwing live ammo at the targets at the end of a stage is a DQ-able offense.

I can't find it in the latest 2017 Revision 2 edition of the IDPA rule book, so I'm checking the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution I keep in my range bag for clarification.

DQing me today would have been akin to putting a hurt animal out of its misery.

That made me LOL. It is always a high pleasure to shoot in your squad, and I for one appreciate what you and all the other SOs do every month.

And those we're mighty fine new target stands we had to shoot up, too. :D

We do have a good time. It never really matters how well or how poorly I shoot...spending a Saturday with a squad like we had today is a lot like therapy for me.

What we needed was a rifle for that first stage.

Starting at 7 am.

Registration opens at 8 am and match begins at 9 am.

What impact is it being part of the shooting sports game? More shooters I'm sure.....can us "regular" guys and gals shoot ?
I may be misreading, but we were just talking about when the SO's get there to set up the stages at 7am

Wow, you carry that thing? Guessing it won't work because it won't fit in the IDPA box. They did make allowances for optics this year, not sure how that affects you though.
Yep. I had a high noon iwb for my hk45c and the sti fits like a glove. It's a little heavy but I don't notice it much.

I've shot there once and had a great time. Great stages for idpa.:D

I haven't been out in what feels like forever. I plan on changing that this Saturday. No worries, I still suck at shooting but definitely enjoy the group of folks

Weather forecast is looking peachy.

Talk about a perfect day...

Shoot great match till 2PM
Go eat lunch with the post match liar's club.
Go back to the range to check scores, and see that they weren't all lying because they got medals.
Put some more rounds down range to check some new sites.
Stop by Sunny Skies for home made ice cream on the way home.
