Came out a few weeks ago, but I just watched it all for the first time - If I Leave Here Tomorrow, the Lynyrd Skynyrd story.

Well made, lots of interviews, old and new, and an inside look at this classic southern rock band

If youre an LS fan you'd probably like this a lot

Saw the title and my first thought was 'Would you still remember me?'
Complete with guitar riff lol.
Glad this was about a LS tribute...I'll be checking it out

I just finished watching this.
It was one of the better documentaries on the band .

This was on HBO/was an HBO doc a while back. I might have done a thread about it then...it's been a year or so.
I really liked it, very good. But it was also eye opening seeing their views on guns. I guess I just assumed since they were country boys from the south, but they were pretty anti-gun.
I dont care, I still enjoy them and can separate the two things.

The 'real' LS was gone too soon. This band still touring is eh, I think there MIGHT be one original guy and vocalist is nowhere near as good.

not a lot of discussion, but i see it was 2018, so it's been quite a bit.
Still, great stuff.

Haven’t seen this one. Lynyrd Skynyrd Uncivil War is a one that’s pretty eye opening as far as the dynamics and politics of the band then and later.

They really are a real-life tragedy. Fantastic musicians cut off too soon.

Then there’s the crap that they dare call the band today. The original agreement said they had to have at three original members in the band to use the name. They’re down to one: Gary Rossington.

They could have two if they’d get over themselves and let Artemis Pyle in.

I saw them open for ZZ Top in 99. They still had Billy Powell and Leon Wilkinson. Johnny Vanzant does a good enough job at singing if you ask me. Plus he made most of the show about his brother.

I’ll have to check out this new show.

Merged ‘em

There's several documentaries on LS. The one where Gary talks about seeing all the people who died in the crash in his hospital room is the one I like the best and then the one that is basically their UK show opening for the Stones is good too.
