If only TWO calibers................?

I’d say 9mm and 5.56…but…I’d dear miss my .45 and .22!

Must be 3
22 Rifle first
38/357 handgun second
30-06 Rifle third
But!
The more weapons of different calibers you own the better chances of always obtaining some available ammo.
Therefore you need a minimum of 20 different calibers!
And you need to reload each!

Yea. That's what I keep telling my wife.

2 calibers okay.... 45 cal..Contender 45 Colt / 410 Barrel, 30 Cal M1A
Contenders would bring the 22 LR barrel just in case

or.
M6 Scout 22 LR / 410, my ole rig..Devine 30 Cal M1A Leatherwood ART (my retro rig)

to bad can't have 3 then would be a toss up TRG-42 338LM / Barrett 82.. gotta get em out there
before they get too close.

9mm and .308
Both fairly common.
9mm can be had in very small guns and also reasonable capacity guns, so it's well suited to many defensive roles.
.308 is quite versatile for putting food on the table from fairly small to very large and out to significant distances on all but the largest.
Course these choices do leave you headshooting the most common table fare, birds and small game, which can be challenging.

So, been tinkering with my caliber "philosophy" and figure I'd pose the question here. Not to necessarily guide my decision making, but to compel a forum discussion: If you were relegated to just TWO calibers (for whatever YOUR use/need directs) what would those be? Regardless of all of the questions this thread may provoke, it is only you that can define that............what say thee?

Mods: if this should be redirected, please do.
357 mag(two snubs, a trr8, two marlin lever actions).
308/7.62(an ar10 for every family member, and a couple bolt guns)
