Ignore threads???

Did we ever find out if there is an add on to allow us to ignore individual threads?

I had them remove the automatic permission they grant after 100 posts to the Political Outhouse at the Harley forum because it seemed 40% of all the new posts over there were all political, and 30-40% of them were lefties. Or maybe it’s just a real loud 10%. Made the place much more tolerable.

I just tried something. Go to a section of the forum you dont care about seeing. Open it. Click “mark read” at the top and anything in there will no longer appear when you click “new posts” until one or more threads in that section get updated.

I just scrolled by about a dozen threads. I ignored every one of them until I got to yours.

Okay, I’ll be that guy. With the influx of new members, and old members greeting the new members a dozen at a time, when you try to view “new posts”, the “greetings" occupy a page or more at a time to scroll through.

Yes. We like to get right to the other inane and innocuous blather that is more important to us.

Priorities, man.
