I hovered over the title to see the first line before clicking the link, just knowing it had something to do with bicycle traffic.
That's an impressive target, the link to the original title had some of the rifle info, "Gary Hamilton holds a Tony Larson .22-caliber sporter rifle Friday at Neilson’s Sporting Goods in Farmingdale. Hamilton used the gun to shoot a 250-point 25X target next to him. The round wildlife paintings above him are some of the many prizes/targets from the Cooper Firearms of Montana One Shot contests that Hamilton has won over the years. Cooper Firearms will be bringing out a signature line of Hamilton 25X rifles soon."

Man, gets his own Cooper sig rifle too.

I have lusted after a Cooper .22 for many years. I've relegated it to the Porsche zone: something I'll likely never own but still like to daydream about occasionally.

Last paragraph says it all, find the best lot and hoard it for the big shoots. .22LR shooting at that level gets very expensive in a hurry because one must buy the whole lot to keep the other competitors from shooting the same. Got tens of thousands of dollars to throw away at a chance to be a champion?

Most important part of that whole story to me is Sporter class!!! 6x scope!! So hard to even see the bull at 50yds with just 6x. This is one of those stories, where it is much more the shooter than the rifle and ammo (but you better have those too if you want a chance at it).

Don’t get me wrong 250/25 is super dang hard, but the guys shooting 250s are usually doing it with much nicer setups and MUCH better glass. Add on that 25x...

My hat is off to this guy!!
