Used to also be the ammo policy, but I believe that's been relaxed a bit.
Still have a major problem with both of these (although the $50 transfer is fairly reasonable in the market):
- $175.00 e-form processing fee
- $10 usage fee/use, if you want to use the device during the form 4 processing time frame.
I called up there to question the $175 fee, and was told it was accurate. That's when I told whoever answered the phone that that one policy would be enough for me to never walk through the door. Although eForms hasn't existed for Form 4s for a couple years, it's still listed on the site. Charging anything extra for using eForms was absurd, but charging almost the cost of a stamp might as well be extortion.
$10/visit to take something I've paid for out of the safe, considering I'm already paying a range fee? I don't know another range in the US that charges a fee for conjugal visits. Not saying there aren't others, but I've never heard a single person mention it (and I moderate multiple NFA forums, and am active on several others). I can't remember for sure, but this fee might be waved if the suppressor is purchased from TR@LN (doesn't say it online, but I may have been told that on the phone?)...but I'm going to assume the prices aren't competitive to what I could spend at CSC/CFF vendors.
The staggered FFL transfer fees for members vs non-members is fine...but the jacked up rates for transfers from PSA (and others) is excessive.
...and just so I know who I'm talking to, does "our range" mean you're an Owner? Employee? Member?
