Haven't used these shoes, or this site, so I make no promises. But it's a pretty solid deal ($68 shipped) so I went in on the drop. I know a lot of guys are wearing this brand's various trail runners for USPSA guessing 3 gunners would have a use as well. If anyone is interested

The site is Massdrop, I think you have to be signed in to see pricing, it is basically a group buy site, I haven't used it before, just perused, be aware it is not buy now shipping tomorrow type of deal.

Full disclosure: as with many of these things if you use the above link to create an account your first purchase is supposed to earn me some type of reward toward future purchases, going direct to the site and creating an account will let you see the same offers.

I think if you sign up through the link and make a purchase I get some kinda perk toward future purchases, but I didn't read the fine print on it.
They have quite a few interesting things going in essentially group buys usually.

I’ve got a pair of Innov-8 that I wear at matches...not the same model above but very similar...seemed to run true to size. I ordered them in the same size as my other shoes and they fit well. I like them and have had the about 2 years and they have held up pretty well.

Got the shipping notice. That's about two weeks ahead of what they predicted.

Well, they came, kinda underwhelmed, but for just under $70 I'm not complaining too loud, probably wouldn't return even were it an option.
Since someone may stumble on this I thought I'd give a quick first impression.

They're light, obvious when you pick up the box, how are they so light? Well there's basically no arch support, and really no cushioning beyond the lug flex. This may not be so great standing all day in gravel, however there certainly won't be any worry about feeling foot position on fault lines, they could lay them out in yarn and you could feel it under the forefoot, probably as close to a barefoot feeling as I've ever had with a shoe on, but there does seem to be a stiffener thru the arch and heel area so hopefully rock bruises won't be a thing.

How's the fit? It's Inov-8's standard fit, which is supposed to be wider than their performance fit, I scoured the web for fit info and found tons of they run small get 1/2 to full size larger than normal, hmm. Well I wear a roomy 12 in New Balance, a not roomy 12 in Salomons, and an 11 in just about every boot brand that ever graced my foot, which is a lot of them. So I took a chance and ordered these in a 12, well, it's not quite a clown shoe, but there's a mile of toe room, 11.5 would for sure fit, 11.0 might, conveniently however they probably have the best heel fit ever so the extra length shouldn't be a major burden just a nuisance.

Little bit of running in the soft lawn and hard packed gravel driveway seems to indicate a good grip, the grass performance is no surprise, lugged almost cleat like, but clearly a much softer rubber. Maybe next time I'll get the size right and be more impressed, think I missed the 305 sale.

Got mine. Have some of the same feeling Beef has. Very light, almost unsubstantial. I ordered 11, which is what I wear in most shoes. These are snug, but I think they'll break in a bit.
Gonna try them out Saturday. I have high hopes. They do seem like awesome traction. We'll see if they need insoles. Wearing them around house they are comfy, and again super light. So far they look good.
If they don't elevate me to master status in two matches: trash can.

Not sure I can wait that long. Figured one to get me by B class, and one to get me by A, with my third being a M smugfest.

6? Ima be a longtime GM by then.
