The first dude was freaking hilarious and I could see being mistaken for real. The other 2 are a waste of time.

While he will certainly allow more right leaning content, I would wager a ton of money that he blocks “extreme content” from either side.
He doesn’t care about free speech, he cares about making money. He will make this work for the majority of people in the middle. This will translate to more users, and a higher value for his investment

There is also the high risk that his Twitter will shadow ban content that exposes or otherwise expresses opposition to the CCP. China will simply remind him that the CCP owns at least 51% of his Tesla factory in China and can easily make that 100%. After all, his patented gigapress and controlling software s there. China wants that IP. Then they will make a tiny change, claim it is their own new patented IP.

What they mean is Twitter might ban the banning of opposing political views. Oh the horrors! What will they do if they can’t suppress the speech of the opposition??!

Fortunately, most of them live and work in a city where crapping on the sidewalk is acceptable behavior. They’ll just take a final protest dump in front of the Twitter building as they carry their box of trophies and snowflake paperweights to their Priuses. 🤓

Before Tesla, what I state was the case for every foreign company operating a division in China.
The CCP can still take the company from him because the CCP owns the land and the buildings. There is no private property in China.

Only a fool would do business in China. Unfortunately, American businesses are full of fools. We’re paying the price for it now. Should have stayed out back in the 70s and let it remain a feudal dump.
