Insta pot...under pressure!!

We discussed this in the chat box so here we go with a dedicated thread.

First up is my trick for venting quickly without the potential for steaming or splattering the cabinets.

Vent at about half open and fold some paper towels over the opening for multi directional dispersion.

They make several little gadgets to divert the steam like this...

But I find that putting a folded dishtowel over the vent works just fine for me and gives me a hot towel to use to wipe down the stove or countertop.

Gotta tell ya thought, nothing better for making bone broth than the insta pot. Love it.....

I know my Wife loves hers.. When she first brought it home ? I rolled my eyes and thought it was just another kitchen gadget she just HAD to have.. But, I gotta tell you.. Its just the gadget you need to cook a great meal after working all day and you don't have much time to feed the grandkids before its time for bed.. I gave her the thumbs up on this one...
