That's what I'm calling it anyway. The one thing I disliked with the P365 was not being able to drop an empty mag clean without breaking my firing grip. The XL frame solves this for me. I never carried the 10rd. mag anyway.

Curious as to why you would go the Glock route and put the shorter slide on the bigger frame. Concealed carry-wise, the longer slide doesn’t hurt you unless you carry mostly OWB.

The grip frame is cheaper than a new gun. Also, some of us don't have tiny hands. The P365 with normal grip frame feels the same as a G43 to me: a hair too short. The thing is still smaller than a shield so CC isn't a concern with any P365.

Pretty much for the reasons I stated in the OP, I can carry and conceal the 12rd. mag easily and I can drop an empty mag cleanly with this setup. No breaking my firing grip to get my palm out of the way.

I see that it is a frame now and not simply swapping from an existing gun. The curved trigger should have tipped me off

Or you carry AIWB.

Forgot about that option since I have suffered from Dunlop Disease for years
