County commissioners will be hearing input from the public on adopting a resolution upholding the second amendment. This would be in line with just about all the surrounding counties.

If you would like to meet up as a CFF group, send me a message and lets pick a place and time. If not, plan on attending as a show of support for passage of this resolution.

There is only (unfortunately) 30 minutes allotted for public comment. These are divided up into 3 minute windows. Signing up requires you be present at 6:30PM at the entrance of the building. More info on that here:

Dress nice, be polite, and show the commissioners we are serious about this.

The fact that they are even talking about a resolution means they are planning on enacting it regardless of what anyone has to say. Still it wouldn't hurt to give your support. The one commissioner I'm friends with will be a yes I'm sure.

Doesn't hurt to have a good turn out and show them voters care enough about it to be present.
Ken Robertson has also already been on record saying we should wait "until the NC legislature decides to increase gun control" before worrying about it. The board also "wants to avoid sanctuary language" which is the whole point.

Your sheriff had a great editorial in the paper recently. My dad sent it to me. Sounds like he is 100% behind it.

When enough counties pass these resolutions, we need to push them to lobby for the end of pistol purchase permits. We’ll see how deep their support is.

I’m in Cabarrus but close enough and wouldn’t mind being another supporting body there if we want to try to pack the room.

I have found that the anti gun people talk to each other. Having a good showing of support visible for them to see is an important part of the fight, and it 's so easy for the locals to do. Just show up and be polite. Your presence is noted by both the people who need votes to keep their "jobs" and by the anti groups who take head counts back to anti gun HQ so they can identify weak spots to focus energy. Better to have them thinking the county is a lost cause for them and their ilk.

Hoping to be there too. Trying to figure out how to put all my comments into a 3 minute block and not sound like an auctioneer.
