If anyone does irrigation systems my hats off to you. I just had to replace one section of supply pipe and decided it was a good idea to get rid of the outdated valves (parts are scarce). It took longer than I expected.

I plumbed my own back in around 1998. Haven’t used it in at least 10 years. Finally had a pipe give way late last year and water bill ended up being $500+ (normally $60-$70). Found the leak, cut the pipe and capped it. Need to actually go back and fix it at some point and use the system again.

I have Bermuda grass and man it's loving this weather. I'm sure it's getting a little thirsty but still looks good. I watered 3 times a week last year while it was fresh sod but this year I've done nothing.

I need some repairs and upgrades. Only outfit that would even talk to me wanted $200 to pull in the driveway and then the meter would start running. I did without irrigation this season.
