I believe it's because we've stopped playing the long game. Our leaders aren't looking past the next election while Islam's leaders are looking 3 generations ahead.I really like his stuff too. He has a good one about being men.
But, more to the point of the video...
It's not logical, right? Why are multiple nation's making decisions that destroy their own countries?? It's not like they don't actually see it and it's not like they are actually idiots, not really. They didn't hey to where they are by being idiots. So, what is driving these seemingly illogical decisions. I've been asking this for years.
Is it knowledge of some future events that the public doesn't know? Something cataclysmic? Is there an alien invasion and politicians are under mind control?
I don't know, but it doesn't make sense. Nation's are destroying themselves and everyone is being disarmed.

It is the globalist/playing God mentality. Those at the top get to (or think they get to) stay on top when the dust settles, so they don’t care what happens to the rank and file.
Read the history of the Pol Pot regime to get a good look at this mindset. His was insular rather than globalist, but there are stunning similarities. The Khmer Rouge thought they could make an agrarian utopia in Cambodia, but they had to kill most of the population to get to their “perfect” sustainable number, along with razing many of the towns and cities. They essentially had to destroy Cambodia to rebuild it in their perfect image.
There are a lot of Western leaders who have similar mindsets. Destroy the country they are in so it can be rebuilt to what they deem utopia. And, they don’t care who gets harmed in the process.
I probably say this way too much, but read Thomas Sowell's Vision of the Anointed. It was an eye opener for me in my younger days.
