Yeah but with 10.5" and 11.5" pistols with all the new braces there really is no functional difference between a pistol or a SBR anymore. It is just an accounting/paperwork gimmick now.

Edit - And with a pistol you don't have to send an itinerary to the King.

I still think there's a difference.

And you're right, until the ATF changes its mind for the umpteenth time about shouldering a brace.

And I don't know that I'd consider "I may be anywhere in any one of 11 states (counting my own), on any one of 365 days of 2019" to be providing an itinerary.

For the record, if I wanted to manipulate the system I'd ask you of all people. If I wanted to get around the system I am looking for someone more devious. I would not name names though.

Not sure exactly where the line gets drawn between manipulation and being devious...but I can tell you the first step for either is to be very familiar with exactly what the rules say.

Guess that's why there is lawyers and coyotes. Each serves a purpose.

Oh, and the line is usually where the prosecutor and judge say it is.
