Been several months for any word on season 2...then this drops with a start date a little less than 2 months out! If there’s anything the “little” studios are doing well, it’s not hyping their releases and just BAM, putting them out there. Netflix did it with the upcoming Breaking Bad movie, now this.

Don’t Star Wars me with months and months of build up...or Top Gun 2 (next June?!?!).

Anyway...season 1 was pretty good. Can’t wait for this one.

They've been 'advertising' season 2 for a while on the Prime app (just says, "coming soon"), so Im excited to see this
Season one ruled

I wish they (Prime, Amazon, etc.) would stick with one standard release date for their series. Last August, this October.... still waiting for word to drop when Fauda will be released on Netflix. Off my soapbox, I am looking forward to this. I watched all of season 1 in 2 days....

Just recapped season 1. The first time I watched it I was sort of apprehensive about how it seemed very Muslim-coddling. The plots were Tom Clancy but the atmosphere seemed PC driven. This time around for some reason I found it far more enjoyable. Maybe I'm getting softer in my old age.

Going into season 2 with anticipation and an open mind...PLEASE don't go all woke on us!

Season two starts off with the Venezuela socialist dictator being changed to a right wing nationalist and his opponent in the election begging a suicidal justice (socialist) left wing woman.

My wife and I are watching this and when they said that on the first episode I started laughing.

My favorite character is the "no-name" SAD guy; he went by Garth in season 1, Jeff Spicoli in season 2. BTW, he plays the Bud Light king in the dilly-dilly commercials. I also like Marcus.
have you seen all of S2?

We watched episode one last night. While we’re big fans of the series, I was disappointed in the acting. I expected more.

Once we get through the newest season of Blacklist, we'll start on Jack.
A Federalist writer isn't pleased at all.

Some of which I agree, some I do not. Krasinski's Ryan is definitely different. I liked him more last season. He's very quickly morphing into the Big Hero Tactical Stud, which ain't consistent with the character. A lot of this season mirrors the movie Clear and Present Danger, which, whatever, fine. Greer I can take or leave. The actor is overplaying the part of loner-leave-me-alone guy. SAD leaving a guy at a RP? Hell yeah. You don't meet a time hack or not at the right place at the right time, you get left behind. But that's what you have a PACE plan and E&E plan. Comms ruined in the boat drop? Where are back-up comms (again, PACE). I think the writer of the piece is reading far too much into a lot of it. On it's face, it's entertainment, not a documentary, which is why I can overlook a lot of the garbage.

For me, this. The Jack Ryan in Clancy's books was always a reluctant hero and that's what S1 kind of followed. S2 has Krasisnski being the action hero, seeking adventure and danger, all the bad guys are bad guys and no gray areas, very few surprises. S2 seems to lack some of the intrigue that S1 had.

Also miss the thicc chick.

Yeah, the good doctor. WTF is she??

You mention Clear and Present - I did NOT like them redoing one of the scenes straight from that movie.

As far as reviewers/critics - dont care. It's opinion (didnt click it, dont care).
There are things I like that yall dont, things yall like that I dont. It's just how it goes.
I liked this season more due to more action.
Yes, I agree, that he's more gung-ho...but I like it

I really liked season one even if it was a little rushed at the end...

Looking forward to season two...

On episode 4-5..

I am forcing the wife to watch it, as she forces me to watch shows with chicks in corsets, and have accents...

movie to movie in our place...
The last time I made her watch lone wolf mcquaid with Chuck Norris, after she forced me to watch “the other Boleyn girl”..

See I thought he was going...well, nevermind.

I do understand there is going to be a movie Without Remorse coming out late 2020 focusing on Clark, but yeah, I thought the SAD guy would have been 'more' Clark.....
Finished yet?

I like it. I finished season 2 in a few days.

No, like any show that you have knowledge of "what is correct" you will spot stupid stuff, but that goes for any show. Don't get my wife started on the veterinarian shows on tv, lol

But I don't watch them to be a how-to...

Hollywood has gone too far!

Assassin sniper takes 3 shots from a suppressed high powered rifle, then casually removes suppressor with bare hand!
I am offended!

And to add insult to injury, the assassin was the Faceless Assassin guy, Jaqen H’gar from Game of Thrones!

booo!
Shame on you Hollywood!
Shame! Shame! Shame!

Just watched S1/E1 last night. It was more entertaining than I expected. I guess I'm going to binge it now.
