Ended up with a BCM charging handle as part of a trade, and put it in my 'good' AR and... ya know what? It's noticeably nicer than the generic $15 unit that was in there. No 'wobble', nice one handed operation, smooth, feels like it can really take some abuse. Just says "quality" without being over the top.
So for all my steel case ammo (wrecks' yer guns!)/$175 pistol challenges/Korean knock-off mag tests/running a SERPA with the button busted out of it for the last 3 years/krylon paint jobs to fix mismatched furniture bought on closeout/cheap flashlight shenanigans... I can still appreciate quality. When it's priced right.
