I'm a huge fan of his, and his podcast is some of the best quality conversations I've ever heard, current episode is with Maynard James Keenan:

One night Maynard stayed at our house when they stopped in Sacramento for a show, lol. He banged my roomate Nancy. She thought he was coming back for her for like 3 years after. We all thought she didn't like men because we had never seen her with one. True story! I used to be in bands and we had a crash pad that was a cool old victorian with like 6 musicians living in it, and road bands would sometimes hangout while on tour.

What a great band. And, he's a really interesting dude.

He talked about where each band is, Tool has been working on an album for 5 years, and APC is working on one, Puscifer is just kind of a whenever thing.

He's a prepper in a way also. He stays ridiculously busy.

The first one he did with Wheeler Walker Jr is some of the funniest shit I've ever heard.

#911 with Eddie Bravo and Alex Jones was insane.

There was a fight episode where Joe left and one of the guys asked Bravo about tower 7, and when Joe got back it was hilarious cause they had Eddie off the deep end.

That shit was hysterical, I must live under a rock bc I hadn't heard of him but after hearing of a song about pussy and beer I had to look him up lol.

JRE is awesome, lots of great information and it's actually digestible. Except for Neal Tyson something talking about the universe and those dudes who kept talking about a great flood. I had to turn that one off, it was making my head spin

Neal deGrasse Tyson was mind blowing amount of information.

Rogan is OK. He accepts too many liberal cultural norms without any critical thought and is quick to condescend conservative viewpoints. And the hyperbole is a bit much - like his constant glorification of Rousey right up until Holly's headkick derailed that hype train.

He's not afraid to call out SJWs. And doesn't except the 647 different classification of people either.

True. And that's one of the traits that makes him tolerable despite my reservations about him.

He's not afraid to bring people on like Milo, Gavin, Jordan Peterson...

If you haven't listened to the Jordan Peterson one not long ago, you should. He completely rips people apart.

Dude for real, I couldn't wrap my head around it. At times the people are just way too smart for me lol

I'll stick with the Dan Flores on Coyotes and stuff. Lol. It did change my opinion of Neil Tyson though, I thought he was going to go full on democrat talking point, but was all nerd for it.

Yeah I enjoy most of his guests, I don't watch any political guests though. The James Hetfield interview was pretty good too, I was surprised he was into keeping bees.

Hetfield was interesting, big into hunting and eating what he kills. Seems like he's down to earth.

He's actually very pro 2A, and constantly talking about how guns are not the problem, but that the real issue is mental health.
And with his platform reaching tens of millions every month, he has the capacity to sway the argument in our favor.

He's convincing the pot guys that the gun guys are ok.

Finished the Gad Saad episode, the anti intellectual problems with the Canadian Human Rights Commission is what the extreme liberal left are pushing here.

Trying to say that Gad is giving a hate speech against Muslims when his life experience as a Jew who fled Lebanon when he was living there as a Dhimmi.

He has definitely had some good shows and interesting conversations, but after that Jack Dorsey bs (both shows) I lost interest.
I don't hate him like many of his former fans now, but between those shows and a few others, he is just more of the same noise out there.

I pick and choose which guest to listen, most I have no interest in, but he does get some good stuff. Pat Mack was a great show guest.
I feel the same way. He tends to lean which ever direction his is. Never fully challenges them on a topic, just agrees and digs deeper into their perspective.

I'm 48, and don't know what a podcast is, but someone was telling me the other day that Joe Rogan and Uncle Ted were becoming or were already chumy. I personally think Ted is a crazy mf'er, but I enjoy him. Never really cared for Joe Rogan. Guess I need to see what they're up to.

They did a podcast together, and Joe got Ted to try cbd on his knees, and now he endorses it.

Joe said they text all time now, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Joe hunting with Ted soon.

Joe is an entertaining guy.......but i swear that guy is high during some of his podcasts.

Its just funny to see a host interviewing guests and what not....and he is high! I laugh at him rambling on... Sometimes stoners hit this epiphany.....like they just discovered the meaning of life or something huge. The faces and reactions they make are hilarious.

Joe's is interesting. I listen to a lot of podcasts, not Joe's since most are profanity laden, F, GD, etc every few seconds, I'll only listen if someone pushes it saying I need to hear that one. If you watch the Chris Stapleton episode on YT, you can even see Chris cringing.
He just struck another yuge deal.
WSJ reports,
"Spotify Strikes Podcast Deal With Joe Rogan Worth More Than $100 Million
His full library, dating back 11 years, is to hit the service Sept. 1, and become exclusive to Spotify after that, before the end of the year"

The Joe Rogan Experience,” one of podcasting’s longest-running and most popular shows, will be launching on Spotify exclusively this year.

Heard that yesterday... Not happy about it. Don't do Spotify. I like to download and listen offline and sometimes I don't listen to an episode for a month or more. Not sure that's possible with Spotify...

Interesting discussion on it.

Tim Pool is a frequent guest of Rogan, and thinks it has to do with YT policies changes.

I think leaving youtube is a good move, I hate the power google has over it.
Until Spotify become the same as YT- remember Joe is more left than right, so he is still a "safe" bet for them. While Joe is saying that he gets "full creative control" in the agreement, I'll believe that in a few years when I have seen it with my own eyes. Happy to be wrong, but I just don't see it. I'm betting there will be a lack of conservative voices on the JRE.

Spotify spent $100m on Joe, and their stock value increased about $5b almost overnight. I bet Joe is kicking himself right now!
