Fox News reported that Rich used hypothetical and personal situations he would use to explain the importance of protecting gun rights to Bentley and Hubbard:

The issue with gun control, you look at it and you go, ‘These maniacs, these vicious people are taking a weapon and shooting people with it.’ And then the flip side of that is, right now, I’m in New York City and back in Nashville is my wife and my two little kids. And if somebody breaks into my house, which rifle would you suggest I tell my wife to grab?

Which one should she grab? The one that gives her the best chance at protecting her and my kids or the one that doesn’t? Those are the types of questions I would like to ask them.

Rich made it clear that gun control does not stop criminals from being criminals, but it does make it harder for the law-abiding citizen to fight off criminals when they attack. He said, “Only the bad guys break the laws.”

Rich is asking Bentley and Hubbard to explain how more gun control laws would solve anything or prevent these terrible massacres

While I’m glad he shares my opinion, I really wish all “stars” would concentrate on playing make believe, sporting well at their sports, dancing on the strings their organ grinders are cranking out, or manufacturing another couple thousand unoriginal songs written by the same massive teams of automatons.

Disappointed in Dierks, could’ve guessed it from the other douche, though.

Won’t stop listening to Dierks, just like I didn’t stop listening to Church, or Willie, or anyone else for their politics. I wouldn’t listen to anybody’s music if I stopped because I disagreed with them on something.

Maybe you should. Why fund them?

Because like I said, if I didn’t listen to anybody I disagreed with then I’d be sitting alone in the middle of an empty house. I’m sure the company that made my rug or furniture probably has some anti-gun people in a decision-making position. Most of everything is made in China nowadays anyways and I wonder what their views are on individual gun ownership?

I’ll continue to listen to the music I like and watch shows or movies with actors who’s point of view I disagree with.

So instead of making a stand at some point just never make a stand? OK. You have that choice. Yeah we can't ban everything, but some stuff is easy. We all just do what we can.

Never said I don’t make a stand. Please, boycott these gentlemen all you’d like. I already was boycotting the guy from FGL for making shitty music.

who is john rich and tyler hubbard?
Ive heard the dierks name before and know it's 'country' but not familiar with the others.

That's called SUPPORT.... By doing that you are feeding their egos and their mouth....

What kind of internet device did you use to make this post? I'd be willing to bet that whatever brand it is, that company is anti 2a.

I've always said that the chances of the leadership in any company I purchase products from line up with my particular morals and politics are slim, but I try to snub any business that makes public statements or stands that are egregious to me.

Where did anyone claim it would be possible to go through life and be 100% support free of every anti-2A person or business? Everyone already knows it's not entirely feasible, yet someone always trots this argument out everytime the subject comes up.

That's my point. But everyone draws a different line. Don't bash someone for "supporting" artist that are anti when you know that you "support" anti 2a people and companies in many aspects of your daily life. It's impossible not too.

How would you propose we access the internet oh brilliant one??

As has been posted already, the internet is not the only thing you are doing/using in your daily life that "supports" anti's. But since you don't like the other guys choice of music, he shouldn't be "supporting" it.

John Rich was the lead singer of Lonestar. Then he went solo. He also is the founder of the MuzikMafia.

Music is decent. Pretty good views he puts forth.

I’ve accepted the fact that I probably have vastly different views on many things in life. Politics, religion, abortion, guns, voting, etc. part of life is learning to get along with people who disagree with you.

That said, it doesn’t mean I will continue to listen to their music. (Not that I ever listened to this bro-country). I have stopped shopping in certain stores or watching certain artists because of statements where they ask me not to. When the CEO of a company says they don’t want me, I am happy to oblige. When a musician calls all gun owners complicit with murder, then that’s an insult I’m happy to answer with avoidance. When an actor rants on about how those with my beliefs are evil, then tuning them out is more respectful than they deserve.

But as many here who have met me, who know we believe in vastly different things, as long as respect and cordiality is shared then we can be friendly, it not even friends.

There's a difference IMO between those you can and can't easily do something about in regards to support. It doesn't make sense to me why anyone would knowingly support someone/something that doesn't have their best interests in mind, especially when there is an easy option not to do so . To each their own I guess.

You can listen to music on the radio or watch a movie on TV with anti artists without paying money for it. I wouldn't really call that supporting them. Now, if you are buying albums and going to movie theaters and concerts, that's a different story.

Also - entertainers need to stick to entertaining, no matter what side they fall.

You learn something every day. I thought he had something to do with "Big & Rich".
