Yes, this is just me wondering aloud - and no, no-one is going to push me in one direction or another.

I'm just curious if others feel the same. I've always been a SA/DA metal handgun enthusiast. I tried the striker models from a variety of companies, shot them, held them, sold them. Mainly have Sig P220 variants. Saw a P365 at the local LGS, bought it on a whim and it has become my EDC. Saw a bronze slide/black grip P320 X Carry at a local show and thought I need another 9mm to complement the 365. Took it home, shot it - and honestly it is a great shooter. Added a Romeo1 and it seriously improved my accuracy (old guy, progressive lenses). Recent trip to LGS and saw a mint (ANIB) P229 Classic Carry ($499 out the door). Took it home, shot it and now it's P320 who? The P320 sits idle in the safe as I have no interest in shooting it - the P229 is just that perfect for me. Ive bought and sold numerous firearms in the past - no regrets. I'm just on the fence with the P320.

Thanks for listening.

That is all up to you. If you don’t shoot it and want to free up some cash, sell it. If you want to hold on to it awhile longer, hold on to it. But, if you decide on the former, let me know (I am in the market for an X Carry to go along with my X Compact and X Full)

Post it all sell it for 30% over retail. I hear that’s the in thing these days. :p

I like this plan. You win either way. I def would not sell for a loss in this market unless your just hard up for cash.

If I chose to let it go, I’ll look for a P226 (with the beaver tail if possible). If I go that route I’ll officially post it in Classified. (fjs80), I’ll let you know up front.

I've got a 320 I'm indifferent about. I keep it because the military adopted it. If things get really screwy and shtf, having a gun that has a common magazine with them might be beneficial.

I truly understand your dilemma. I was a little late to the handgun world (5 years ago) but have made up for it since. My first handgun was a S&W Shield that I bought for concealed carry. Then I bought the Sig P226 Legion. Talking about setting the bar high for future purchases! Absolutely love the gun and have put about 3000 rnds through it. I also have a number of P320's now. The RX full size (w/apex trigger and stippled X5 grip module) which I do most of my training, (2) X-Carry, and recently the X-5 Legion which I plan to shoot for the first time tomorrow. They like other guns each have their own personality and yes I am now a true gun nut. Enjoy them all as I do!

BTW I have been thinking about getting a P229 as well

Thats why I haven't done much about selling/trading it. Im gonna look for a pre-owned P226 now - and let this one sit for a while.

I guess I’m odd man out. Only Sig I’d ever consider is the 320 series. Can’t stand their metal guns. Except the 320X5 infused frame thing.
I’d love to have a 220/226/229...so I can sell it with the quickness.

So I traded it for a BNIB SIg P226 SAO Elite with 3 15 round mags. Never a fan of the plastic firearms. Like the heft of the metal frame and love the SAO (Have a P220 SAO Compact with beavertail. Guy bought it new - didn't like the SAO format.

Actually, The SAO guns I like because the thing I don’t generally like about SA/DA sigs is the huge decocker which is right where I apply grip pressure.
Enjoy the gun!
