Same piece of brass. Once fired factory Hornady from a bolt gun. Not sure what the heck happened to it lol

Wow. I have never seen that happen in a bolt gun. I would be checking the chamber throat very carefully. Can not see how it could happen on ejection. If you figure it out please post.

I'm guessing the brass came that way. I've got 300+ other pieces that were fired from this gun with no issues. Maybe one slipped through the cracks me up at the factory

I've saved worse. Shoulder dents don't really matter.

I had just trimmed it, was about to chamfer and debur when i noticed the shoulder. 6.5CM
