    So if you pick up the (discontinued) Kestrel Sportsman with Link and CONX ($249 / with free shipping) it will receive an automatic upgrade to the latest Kestrel 5700 firmware and software which essentially makes it the same as the Ballistics 5700 for a savings of about $200ish bucks. If you want the Elite you can also pay for that upgrade.

    Yep. Bought one from Doug a month ago. Super deal for sure. The firmware to a while to upload but works fine now. I’m still figuring it out.

    killer deal

    I've started using the Kestrel for weather and linking it to Strelok for solutions simply because I like the Strelok interface better.

    Agreed on the methodology. I've been using Strelok for years and have everything loaded in there as far as rounds, rifles, truing, etc. So I don't know that I'd go away from that, but use the Kestrel in addition to in conditions that justify it.

    I do use the Kestrel exclusively during matches so I don't need multiple devices
