Up in Bryson City NC for a little birthday getaway, are there any shops up here worth popping in? Or anywhere within 45 minutes or so?

If'n ya hike, it's a great place to start up into the Smokies.
If'n ya fly, it's exhilarating to land at the Bryson City Airport. It's another thrill to take off from there.
If'n ya like rubber hatchets, they are there aplenty.
If'n ya wanna meet Cherokees, you will see 'em no dount.
