Recently purchased from Josh Kunz of Patriot Valley Arms one of the new Kinetic Security Solutions ATS barrel tuners made by Aaron Hipp. Came in the mail today. Mounted it on my 6.5 Creedmoor with PVA Jet4 brake. Rifle was clean and had just switched back to the 6.5 barrel so needed to rezero and foul so used an ammo lot, lot 751, that shot good but I only had a little left. Got zeroed and shot 5 shots into a bullet hole that was there from zeroing. Didn't touch the tuner at all. That was first pic with the zero target in it.

Then I pulled out another lot, lot 715, and it took two targets to find the setting. Left is first two shots and then right is the next two shots.

Then last pic is a lot, lot 537, that never shot great but I wanted to test it. Unfortunately I grabbed a partial box so only got 7 targets shot but it started to come in on 6 and 7. Will test again next time out but it looks like it will be good in another couple adjustments.

All in all I am very happy with this KSS ATS tuner. That barrel has a little over 2100 rounds through it of match shooting and still shooting pretty good.

Distance? I read the post twice, but maybe I missed it?

Can you explain how it tunes? Does it change the distance?

If you look at the link in the post it has a video with Aaron explaining it. The tuner basically screws forward and backwards changing the harmonics and tightening or loosening groups.

It's my understanding it moves the weight which in turn changes the harmonics
More simple than that...I meant distance to target he was shooting. I may have missed it, but I don’t think I saw it in the OP or written on the targets.

Looks like the Browning BOSS. A proven system and interestingly never picked up. I hope Aaron does well with it.

Similar theory but much better in application as it can be used in any threaded barrel. They make them in three common thread pitches and they fit on barrels up to 1.05” in diameter I believe.

Good deal, the BOSS was a break adjustment. As you know, the old school was the slip on weights for .920 barrels ;)
