Jerek’s temperature did not get above 99 on Thursday and was back to his normal on Friday. To everyone’s surprise, his counts had recovered by Monday. When they decide to come back up, they do so quickly. On Monday, his platelets were the highest they have been in a long time at 218. His white count was 6.2 (which is in the normal range) and his neutrophils were 3,400. With his counts fully recovered, they started this last round of chemo on Monday. Monday was a fairly long day with 2 chemo drugs and fluids that went along with one of the drugs. Yesterday was chemo again and a lumbar puncture. He goes back today and tomorrow for this same drug. He will have this same 4 day schedule next week as well, then he will go down to twice a week. Unfortunately from being delayed a week he will now have his last dose of chemo on Christmas Eve. So far he has been pretty tired and has had some trouble with nausea, but overall he is handling it well. We just try to remember this is the last big push before things start to slow down.

River’s birthday is tomorrow. It is so hard to believe it has already been a year. Colt goes Friday to get his cast off. They are both doing well. We took them Saturday to have their pictures done and they turned out amazing. A big thank you goes out to Passion Photography+ and O’Shannus for being patient with them, especially when Colt didn’t want to cooperate. As always, we appreciate the prayers and we hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.

You’re the greatest and we’ve got your backs. All the best for the holidays to a wonderful family.

Good news, he stays on my mind and in my thoughts, all of you in your family do.

So happy for all of you. The kids grow so fast these days.:)

Great news, super cute pic!
