I just saw this in a different forum (knife related)
I thought it may work here
I took this off my side and out of my pocket and snapped this photo
I don't think edc was/is the intent, I'm just lazy
The other community had all sorts of photos based on this title/theme...
Since this is a forum, I figured I'd go ahead and provide/start just that...

dayum Geezer! tell more about the gun...or is that an air hose nozzle?
My brother was helping to clean out his mother in law's boyfriend's house after he had to go to a nursing home. While going through his things my brother found 11 of these homemade zippers.
He was a POW in Viet Nam and was never exactly right afterward. We don't know if these were from his military days or things he made later on. Crude but very ingenious designs. They were all in different lengths and sizes, some had sights from hammered pennies. On the butt, some had coins inlaid. On the charging handle, some had tiger's eye stones in them. Most of them had a holster that looked like they were made from old rubber car floor mats.
The old guy was in a car accident and never recovered from that, the reason for the nursing home. These are interesting and sad at the same time. Who knows what was going on around him and what was going on in his mind when he made these.

Wow...interesting story. That one looks to be well made. Thanks!
