Kyle Rittenhouse 17 year Old Shoots 3 kills 2....

Why is he still locked up? I thougth he had some high profile lawyer working for him, figured first thing he'd do is get him out of jail
The charges are out of Wisconsin and he is in Illinois I believe. He is being held pending an extradition hearing to see if Il. is going to send him back to face their charges. I don't understand why they are dragging their feet or why he hasn't already waived the process.

I think they just now got a Wisconsin lawyer to join the team.

An attorney representing alleged Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse has announced plans to sue Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his campaign for libel on his client's behalf after Biden shared a video that appears to suggest the teenager is a White supremacist.

Lin Wood, Rittenhouse’s civil attorney, confirmed to Fox News on Wednesday his intention to sue the former vice president and his campaign on his client’s behalf, just hours after Biden posted the 50-second clip to Twitter.

The tweet, which had garnered more than 48,000 retweets and 148,000 likes by 2:35 p.m. EST, boasts the caption: “There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night.”

.

YES!
I was wondering if he'd go all in on it for biden saying what he said.
scratch that, I was HOPING he'd go all in on it. I didn't donate much, but the money I donated was in the hopes that it would be used for coffee to fuel up their most aggressive lawyers.

I admittedly haven’t paid much attention to this since the days after it happened. I’m surprised he’s still in jail considering how much video evidence is out there!

Good for his legal team for going after the a-holes who are claiming he’s a white supremacist because he defended himself. I wish them the best!!

Thats some lawyer BS. Trying to fight extradition makes him look like he's avoiding the consequenses. He should go on the offensive.
How's this for offense? :D

Kyle Rittenhouse to sue Biden, campaign for libel, attorney says
'He falsely accused a 17-year old boy & prejudiced Kyle’s legal rights,' the attorney tweeted

It references President Trump’s response to a question during Tuesday night’s debate in Cleveland, Ohio, where Fox News host Chris Wallace, who moderated the event, asked the president if he was willing “to condemn White supremacists and militia groups, and to say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities.”

As Wallace continued his question, he said the nation has seen violence in cities, such as Kenosha, Wis., and Portland, Ore. But roughly 12 seconds into the video, as the moderator can be heard mentioning Kenosha and Portland, the footage cuts to an image of Rittenhouse, who was accused of murdering two people and wounding a third after clashing with demonstrators during civil unrest in the Wisconsin city last month.

I disagree with you, Kyle was charged the next day, no way could a proper investigation be conducted in 24 hours, only based on video from social media venues. They called him a white supremacist and Blue Lives Matter fanatic has also received death threats whine awaiting trial. He is safer in IL then in a WI jail.
Remember the young man who visited DC with fellow students who were bullied and then belittled by shameless activist journalists?

Not exactly. This may be a good move to get a look at the Kenosha DA's case. I believe that he is basically saying the the Kenosha DA by prosecuting him is denying his constitutional rights, most likely the inability to receive a fair trial or excessive bail. There is an article I started reading on extradition habeus corpus, https://digitalcommons.law.yale.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=9118&context=ylj.

Could also get it kicked to Federal Court, less political pressure.

Exactly why he should get in there. They don't have a case and giving them time to spin and doctor the narrative won't help him.

Death threats have been made against Kyle if he goes into WI jail. Reasons for fighting the extradition.

CD
He's going to be there eventually. Putting it off doesn't help and he'll get a bond.

Which no one can address until he gets there and the charges are made. The excessive bail he's got now was set by his own state.

Anyone else infuriated that 'militia members' are now being portrayed as the Siamese twin of white supremacist?
Militia members? Where the hell does this even fit in with current events? Wallace just decided to pull this outta his azz since that's what they're doing over at NBC and ABC. He's a total fish with the golden woke-hook in his mouth and no spine.

I'm not even an official militia member, besides what the constitution asks me to do, but the implication is clear and obvious. Next term to villanize, already in progress, will be Patriot. Then it will be Proud American.

On the back of tablet number two is the 11th commandment-

The media is the enemy of the American People.

Proud is next?
Seems to me that in 2008, our First Lady said that it was the first time in her adult life he was proud of America.
(fwiw, the "he was proud" bit was an innocent typo, but I'm leaving it because it's funny)

I think there is a sub section that addresses instances where the governor is a douche nugget.
The blog lists a website which claims to have links to something like 38 known militias in NC. I don't think any militia that isn't a bunch of posers that would ever advertise on such a list.

The blog also goes into a couple of legal concepts that while interesting from a practical standpoint are likely pointless and irrelevant. For starters it discusses the concept that the governor has the authority to call up the 'unofficial militia' but would first have to exhaust the 'official militia' resources and this would only happen as a matter of last resort. From a practical perspective, there are two issues. One, I doubt these 'unofficial militias' would even be willing to answer to the governor, and two if we're at the point where these militias are active or mustered I would say that things have likely devolved to the point that we're effectively WROL (without rule of law) anyway.

The second legal aspect that is covered in detail by the blog is of more practical concern given the things that are happening and likely to accelerate; civil unrest and mob violence that LE either can't or won't contain as a proximate cause of people taking up arms themselves in defense. There is a distinct tone of condescension in that article that only the "professionals" or those "sanctioned" by govt should take up arms in defense. It goes into subjects such as 3 or more armed people coordinating for defense in a demonstration or protest would be an "illegal" act. This attitude strikes me as both un-American in principle and rather elitist and comes across as distinctly saying the "rulers" intend to rule and is the opposite of the idea of governance of, by, and for The People. Again, though, from a practical standpoint if we get to where neighborhoods are arming up and fighting violent mobs it can be said that we are in a state of WROL. Similarly, if we reach the point where a sufficient number of people are willing to arm up and strike against the (occupational) government we will have also reach the point of WROL.

If we are in a state of WROL, then worrying or arguing about the "legality" which is nothing more than words on paper that wouldn't be recognized anyway is rather pointless.

But, what about the disorganized militia? I think most here fall into that category. ;)

Correct, I've repeatedly asked that people post one naked woman per post and not multiples of naked babes because I can't upvote or "like" the post if there is an ugly one amongst the bunch.

Anybody on the right is considered a white supremacists now.

Critical Race Theory, the stuff called "Sensitivity Training" at the debate Tuesday teaches that ALL white people are evil. They are oppressors. It is in a white person's DNA and there is nothing that can be done about it. It CAN NOT be "trained" out. Power and property must be relinquished to people that are better genetically suited to be trusted with it. (Non whites).

That's, like, the definition of Racism.

CRT explicitly and by name rejects MLK's vision of a colorblind society in favor of skin color as THE determining factor regarding who has the capability to judge right and wrong. (CRT teaches that white people can not).

No, because it's directed against white people (who have agency). Even if it's white people (who have agency) pushing those views to discriminate against other white people (who also have agency).
Racism is about people who have agency using agency against people that don't have agency. Didn't you get the memo?

All I'm saying is this: f all the isms. They can't be trusted. Everyone needs to chill and go smoke pot together, realize there are people trying to divide us as a country, and come together right now over...
