Crappy 1911 triggers are like pizza and sex, even bad 1911 triggers are better than glock.

I'm amphibious. I like Glocks and 1911's, but truer words have never been spoken.

Never shot a 1911 and probably never will unless a friend buys one. Glocks do everything I need and more.

I have carried my 1911's "cocked and locked" for several years because that is how I trained. Mine are NOT safe queens and none were less than $1,500.00, and that one had to be worked on by someone that has forgotten more than I will ever know about them. Funny, but I've never been "shaky" when firing a 1911, nor shooting a .50 cal. Desert Eagle. No, that one was not mine, but the recoil was negligible compared to my 1911's. It's all how and what you train with I guess.

I am not sure sponsored is the right word. He has worked with both and not have put out Vickers Vscticsl versions of their pistols.

He has custom built 1911s, which are very pricey. When he was in Delta that was the gun that used. He also offers 1911 specific classes. But like most of us he has evolved and understands the role of the 1911 as well as the role of Striker Fired and and other types of pistols in today's world. I don't think he's stuck on the 1911 any longer but understands their strengths and weaknesses.

Wilson Combat has probably given him guns, too, that cost six times what a Glock does, for whatever that's worth. And he publishes books on 1911s.

I don't think he's exclusive to any handgun variant. When he and Ken H. were here they told us that from their observations training worldwide Glocks were by far the most prevalent handguns worldwide, especially in other countries where they don't have all the choices we have here.

I am sure Wilson knows which side his bread is buttered on and probably recognizes people seeing Larry shlepping a WC 1911 is not going to be bad for business. I think they are personal friends too. Plus Larry is a 1911 fan so WC is a good choice for that I would think.
