Been researching a laser for my 9mm carbine. Got lots of recommendations for the CMR-206 5mw green laser. Just purchased one, and it appears to work up to about 30 ft or so in bright daylight.
Now I also have a 10mw laser pointer about the size of a pen. Cost me $10.00. I can see the dot very well at over 100 ft. in bright daylight.
I see 10mw, 20mw, and higher power laser pointers for sale everywhere, all a lot less expensive than the laser sights. But for some reason, all the laser sights are only 5mw, and cost a lot more.
Anyone know why we can't get a 10 or 20mw laser sight?
Really interested in the reasons behind this.
