Found 2 I hadn't upgraded from xenon yet - Surefire aviator and original Pentagon weapon light.
Put a Malkoff P60 in the Pentagon - worth the $ as it's an incredibly well built metal light body and has an integral LaRue QD mount.
Nice and bright now.
The Aviator had to sacrifice the low power color LED and is now just low/ high brightness. Also a solid metal body and a good light to keep. Lumens factory had that model available.
Hard to believe the massive improvement in size and brightness we have experienced vs not that long ago when a 4D Maglight was the cats behind. Or the 2 C cell summer camp flashlights we had as a kid, barely lit up the ground under your feet.
Think I've exhausted my supply of older lights now - living in the modern era finally!
