I'm falling out of love with mouse guns. Just too easy to limp wrist or more like limp hand. I can't make a revolver jam by holding it wrong. I just don't know if I'm going to be able to carry an lcr like I do a lcp. I normally carry a glock 19 and lcp. The lcp is my gun for when you can't get cought with. I could hide a lcp at an orgy and am looking for revolvers that fit that same bill.

I have an LCP and and LCR, not even close in terms of being able to hide the LCR. go look on handgun hero, you'll see just how big the LCR is. It's light (well the 38 is, my 357 is the same dimensionally but noticeably heavier) but longer, taller and way wider.

I also have an NAA mini in .22, and a lifecard. The NAA is awesome for carrying in a pocket in the yard loaded with snakeshot for snakes, and it does OK at 5 yards on targets on the square range at low speed but it's hardly a fighting gun. The lifecard is a pure novelty and pretty useless as a defensive tool. I would rather have a knife.

I never realized I have so many pocket guns...

I usually carry an LCP but today I felt like I wanted a change and carried my SW Bodyguard 38, (the new plasticy one not the old purty one).

It felt like I had a phone book in my pocket compared to the LCP, but 5 rds of 38 Gold Dot +P just beat 380.

My big worry is just how easy it can be to limpwrist a gun this hard to hold. Maybe an all steel gun is the answer. I'm normally carrying a glock 19 i really don't care about weight

maybe go hold some of the micro 9mm guns out there. there are many and they are a little larger than the lcp. might be just big enough for you to grip without being too big to conceal.

I won't own a Sig for various prejudiced reasons, but the little 365 thing felt great in my paw. A buddy was trying to sell me on a Sig.

A bit pricey, and much bigger than an LCP, but the S&W J-frame Model 340PD has been a go-to for me for a long, long time.

My 638-3 is about as tiny as a revolver can get and still be a real gun.
But it's closer in size to an LC9. Up and down/ front to back it's almost exactly the same size as the LC9. A bit wider though because of the wheel, but considerably lighter than the LC9 too.
My favorite part is the exposed but enclosed hammer.

Yeah looks like any sensible revolver is big enough to the point I would just be carrying a glock 19.

I dunno about that, but any revolver is going to be larger than the LCP unless you go NAA. They do make an NAA in 22mag, it's at least something and if you're having trouble with the small autos is 5 rounds of 22mag better than 1 round of 380?

A scale comparison:

My lcp runs great i just know a bad hold will limp wrist it. Given when you're likely to use one that's an issue. A steel frame lcp would be ideal.

Ounces matter in a pocket. The lightest possible DA revolver with a conventional form-factor is going to be a Smith 340PD wearing Hogue Bantams. Scandium, titanium, and lightweight rubber.

There’s maybe 1.5 ounces of difference between that gun and an LCP. Mine is just over 11 ounces.

It’s expensive. It also saves you something like 2 or 3 ounces compared to the standard airweights.

Have you looked into the LCP Max? The gun is night and day compared to the OG LCP. Its really hard to limp wrist the Max
I really don't trust anything other than double action for pocket guns in soft holsters. I would buy a max if it wasn't a light striker fired gun. I'm sure the better grip would kill all the issues of the gun getting loose.

I had a Ruger LCP and could never get real comfortable shooting it because I have fairly large hands. Traded (unusual for me as I do not like to get rid of ANY gun) it for a Ruger 22/45. Now looking for a CCW to replace the LCP. Thinking about a Glock 43X, and a couple more.

@BatteryOaksBilly sent several of these through the ringer. I run mine in a kydex holster with fabric clip. It works so well that I can wear it with gym shorts and no one would be the wiser. I'd seriously consider it. Even if you did a vedder style pocket holster. I also have one of these and wear with cargo shorts.

And I think it's painful to touch off full house 357 out of the LCR, that slimmed down 340... damn.

I have a box of 48 rounds of 357 mag. I shot two out of the lcr and said NOPE.

I made it through at least 1 cylinder in mine before I stopped. Now I'm just using my handloads... 147gr wadcutters at a blistering 525fps. Much more fun to plink with and if you make a bad shot you can just reach out and grab the bullet out of the air before it gets too far down range.

My carry load is 148gr Federal GMM wadcutters. They shoot to POA and they cut clean holes. I've played the ".357 in an AirLite" game... and it's stupid. I bought a light snubby to have a light snubby, not a flashbang that hurts.
