Leading GOP senator files gun control bill on eve of special session in Virginia

If he says it's a short reading then its likely 1000 page novel.

I applaud activists who bring cockroaches to light and make them scurry.

Just one question, though, for those whose indignation and outrage at the sleaziness of politicos calls for despair, like this is some intolerable burden to watch the state, as if it were expected to behave itself.

JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK PATRICK HENRY MEANT WHEN HE SAID "THE PRICE OF LIBERTY IS ETERNAL VIGILANCE"

Was he just angling for a spot in "Bartlett's Quotations" or did he mean that this continuous expectation that the state would misbehave should be a part of our ORDINARY expectations?

If the latter, then how in God's name can you support, even in theory, the idea of a centralized state in DC in the first place? And if not, should your political goal not be the DESTRUCTION of that state by the very political activity you are advocating to "keep them honest" (pardon me while I collapse into fits of laughter)?

I think you want to buy half the cow and walk it home. All the Lee Greenwood songs and weepy bawling out of the star spangled banner with hands over hearts isn't going to make that possible.

Read Anatomy of the State. It is a short little tract.
it is a free pdf at mises.org. expand your thinking.
This is a quote from David M.Zuniga "TACTICAL CIVICS™ is We the People taking our proper role.
Not social media chat, politics, or today’s so-called ‘militia’, but a responsible new way of life: break Congress down into small districts, bring them home, enforce the law against them, and begin taking back all that we lost to criminals over generations"
There is a plan, start your county chapter through AmericaAgain.net and start learning. Congress can't stop it.

Start working towards making our public servants reinstate our oldest Law Enforcement Agency, Constitutional Citizen Militia duty, and teaching The People about States Grand Jury duty. You can learn here at Tacticalcivics.com
While I may have some reservations about the actual tactics in tactical civics, it is unarguable that the return to grass roots rejection of centralized power is an essential for freedom. I have to applaud the guy at the core, even if I would focus differently in some areas.

"Grassroots- We The People are the highest level of human government in our republic. Why use the
politically-brainwashed term grassroots, as though we are earthworms underfoot?" This is from David M.Zunigas book, Fear the People. How would you go about making a change for the better? Not trying to be a smartbutt, it's just an honest question. I'm just looking for something to grasp a hold of, to help change things for the better. It looks to me as if...where we're going is in all the wrong direction. What are these reservations you speak of? If you have any good suggestions, We are sure glad to hear.
