Right handed, left eye dominant here. What would be the better play to get left eject? Was looking at Aug, IWI or Stag but will accept other suggestions.

Same here, but most of my long guns are scoped, so that kinda eases the strain if using my right eye.

To your situation, are you saying you want to shoot an AR left handed so you can use your left eye? I actually do have a left hand version that I'm yet to try.

I shoot pistol right hand and rifle left hand, left eye. I was curious about rifles with ambi eject or left eject.

True lefty here. Only time I’ve been bothered by a “normal” AR is when shooting suppressed subsonics.

Left eye dominate shooter here as well. I shoot rifles left hand and pistol right handed, other than ambi controls I have never had a need for a left side eject AR.

I'm left handed, left-eye dominant, better with my right hand with a handgun and lefty with a rifle.

I'm not sure why you need a left-handed AR as the brass deflector has always worked fine. But I did put a lefty bolt in an MSAR (AUG copy) and it works great. The FN FS2000 ejects to the front, to there's no issues there as well. My other bullpups I will leave as is and just shoot them right-handed.

On the other hand, I've trained many left-eye dominant people to shoot AR's lefty, including a midshipman from Annapolis (going the Marine route). It takes a while to get used to, but after a few hours they were shooting very well.

Do you get a lot of gas in the face running the aug?

I am a hard core left handed dude. I own 3 lefty AR-15's and love them. I have professionally always shot right eject AR-15's.

both left and right eject for me is a non-issue.

IF I am buying the firearm, I always pick a left eject if its offered. To include my Rem 870. LOL

I have always shot righty AR with minimal issues other than burnt powder etc in the face. I want to get a perfect rifle for me, like a one and done build. I will probably either get an Aug or X95 if I can try them first. Otherwise may settle for a lefty stag upper. Just wanted some other options if any were available.

One key element to the lefty Stag upper is the lower is the same from a righty AR. I say this because Rock River Arms came out with a 100% lefty AR and the lower was mirrored.

I hate that damn gun. I have shot an AR15 / M16/ M4 since 1996 and that Rock River lefty I can not operate, its just ass backwards. LOL

I have a lefty AR you're welcome to try out. Whole rifle or just the upper, if you have a lower.

I'm not sure when I'll be back at BO again, but I'm betting @Etruett or @Gunbelt will ferry it down there, if we ask nicely.

That would be wonderful!

And additionally, if anyone would be willing to let me run either of those bullpups id greatly appreciate it.

I'm lefty. I have never used any firearm that is "left handed" or left side eject. I use a brass catcher to avoid the occasional hot brass burn on my right arm.`
No lefty M16's for qualifying in the USAF. No left handed Remington 1100 shotguns at the Hook & Bullet either.

Someone mentioned the RDB, and I will suggest looking at one aswell. No messing with anything other then which side the charging handle is on.

I like mine and the RFB quite a bit.

I will also echo the others that simply run a "right handed" AR lefty... as long as there is a shell deflector, im good to go. I DO like ambi safeties though. If gas to the face is a concern while suppressed, perhaps a gas buster type charging handle would be an efficient, inexpensive solution while maintaining parts commonality with the countless AR's out there?

And, while it is not directly related to the discussion at hand, I will note that AK's and lefty shooters seem to be a match made in regards to overall ergonomics ( excepting sling mounts... but that can be fixed)

I cringe when I watch a right hander reach around the gun to run that bolt...

An AUG or Tavor would not be a bad choice either... I want both.

Im right handed left eye dom. I shoot pistols right handed and rifles left handed. Never had a problem with brass ejecting in front of my face.
